Getting Started
Step One - Phone Consultation
The first step is to set up a complimentary 15-minute consultation phone call. In this call, I will ask you some questions to learn more about what you would like to work on in therapy. I will share with you what therapy would look like with me and answer any questions you have. The goal of this conversation is to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
Step Two - Intake Paperwork
If you decide you would like to begin therapy with me after our phone consultation, I will send you some intake paperwork that I will ask you to complete before your first session.
Step Three - Intake Session
We will start with a 60-minute intake session. In this session, we will focus on the challenges you would like to address, the symptoms you are experiencing, your strengths, and background information. We will discuss what treatment will be most helpful for you and develop a plan for your therapy together.
Step Four - Therapy
After the intake session, we will begin regular therapy sessions. Sessions are 45-minutes long and scheduled weekly. In these sessions, we will focus on the goals and plan that we discussed in the intake session. Between sessions, I will ask you to practice the skills and strategies we discuss.
