Welcome, and thank you for considering me as your therapist! I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel safe, respected, and actively involved in the therapy process. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and skill-focused, helping clients build coping strategies and resilience. I work collaboratively with families and youth to understand their unique strengths, goals, and challenges, and to develop individualized treatment plans that support meaningful and lasting change.
I have over seven years of experience working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, treating concerns such as anxiety, stress, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, and trauma. I specialize in anxiety treatment for children and teens and in supporting caregivers in learning practical, research-supported strategies to help their child succeed at home and in daily life.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with other evidence-based modalities. I have received training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC).
As a faculty member at the University of Rochester Medical School with experience in school-based mental health and cross-system collaboration, I value working as part of a child’s broader support team—partnering with families, schools, pediatricians, and other providers when appropriate.
